Diabetes Research

There’s still no cure for either type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Although it is true that advances in medications and in the treatment of diabetes have made tremendous advances in helping people with diabetes live longer, happier, healthier lives.

That doesn’t mean that work on finding a cure isn’t underway. The National Institute of Health, medical schools, pharmaceutical companies, governments, private foundations, and the American Diabetes Association are all working tirelessly to prevent, treat, and cure both forms of diabetes.

In fact, the American Diabetes Association alone spent over 46 million dollars in 2006 toward developing a cure.

Until there is a cure, if you’re covered by Medicare, please consider Diabetes Care Club for the latest in testing meters and diabetic testing supplies. In many cases, they will send you one of the most advanced testing devices and supplies right to your door—at no cost to you.
